Liniments are medicated liquids applied topically for therapeutic purposes. Our liniments are made from traditional recipes using Chinese herbs. Each batch of herbs is soaked in grain alcohol for a minimum of 3 months to ensure that the active ingredients are infused into the liquid.
We offer three primary types of liniments in our office:
- Trauma liniment – Used to treat first stage contusions, often used in martial arts, works by dispersing heat and inflammation so circulation can be restored.
- Tendon liniment – Disperses chronic injuries to tendons and liniments, frees stuck joints, and resolves old sprains.
- Stop Pain Liniment – Strongly stops pain, disperses static blood, relaxes muscle tissue.
Liniment is applied by dispensing a few drops onto the affected area, and then massaging into the skin with light pressure, using a circular motion. Liniment can be applied 4-6 times per day.
